_ About my practice
Constantly moving from one place to another, I, just like a wandering outsider, was immersed in this everchanging era of image explosion and overwhelming choices, and was surrounded by confusing representation of the reality. This drives me to stand in a more distant angle to re-examine and re-image how perception is colored by conventionality, contradiction, and the mundane within the existence of the contextual elements in scenes, by using a variety of media, including photography, collage and installation. I searched for elements and scenes that make one contemplate how once familiar becomes a part of the foreign to oneself.
